Nah don’t wait 4-6hrs to change your pad. Especially if it’s the beginning of your cycle. 2hrs tops. I would recommend a menstrual cup if you don’t want to change pads or tampons frequently.

Yeah don't use antibacterial soap on the vagina!! Great to use it everywhere else for your first wash but nope it has too much fragrance in it and also causes odor down there!! DO NOT USE SCENTED SOAP DOWN THERE!! TRUST ME, IM AN OBNP so I give this advice multiple times a day to multiple people. Y'all please use Dove Unscented (dove sensitive) or unscented Dr. bronners for washing your 😺!!! Use only unscented or completely all natural soaps/wash!!! Also don't forget the creases where your thighs connect to the pelvic area!!!!! It is an area that will collect odor and sweat!! It's just an easy place to overlook if in a hurry and even missing it for one shower will cause odor!!! AGAIN DO NOT USE SCENTED SOAPS DOWN THERE! THE BEST THING TO USE IS DOVE SENSITIVE BAR SOAP WITH WASHCLOTH!! (DOVE SENSITIVE BODY WASH AND DOVE BABY BODY WASH WORKS TOO) !!!
